ROLEX SUBMARINER 5513

‘METERS FIRST’

The Rolex Submariner has appeared in many forms since its inception, and none are more pure than the renowned, time-only 5513. Having been in production for over a quarter of a century, the 5513 appeared in a few different forms of its own while still keeping in line with its time-only appeal. One of the more coveted forms of its existence is the “meters first” examples, which is presented here today.

This is a classic vintage reference in its most natural (and wholly original) form. Having taken on a life of its own and displaying it unabashedly throughout its exterior, from lug to insert, to crystal and bracelet. The watch has micro nicks and scratches throughout but still only showing its age where it’s acceptable, and being well preserved where it counts.

Although service history is unknown, the movement is running exceptionally well at ±2 seconds per day and a 307 amplitude.
