The Rolex GMT Master is thought of as the archetype of the GMT complication, with its standout bi-colour bezel insert and third GMT hand expressing multiple time zone awareness in an extremely easy-on-the-eyes manner. The reference 1675 served as one of Rolex’s longest ever in-production watches. It was introduced in 1959 to replace the original GMT Master (ref. 6542) and was discontinued in 1980.
This example is in honest vintage condition, with general wear throughout its entirety. The matte black dial, original handset and a uniquely faded insert are a culmination of what makes vintage GMT Masters just down right cool watches.
The movement was serviced in July 2022 and is running strong.
