OMEGA SEAMASTER DATE 166.067
‘SPARKLE DIAL’
The Seamaster name is as synonymous as the Speedmaster is with the brand name itself. Debuting in 1948, the Seamaster moniker was given to a line of watches that featured rubber gaskets and resistance to magnetism, adding a dose of ruggedness and durability to an otherwise entirely dress watch. Fast forward to the present day and the Omega Seamaster has since poised itself to become a flagship reference in both Omega’s catalog of watches and the watch industry as a whole.
The example here is from 1970 and is everything one would expect of a vintage Seamaster. It can be worn casually or formally, has a quintessential vintage BOR-style bracelet, and a “sparkle” dial that adds a slight differing feature to the overall package. It is worth noting there is some case pitting at ends of the top left and bottom left lug. The case however appears to be unpolished and retains its original matte, brushed finish. Overall, the watch is in great condition.
Service history is unknown, however the movement is clean and running well at ±5 seconds with a 206 amplitude. The watch will come with an Omega box and international warranty booklet.
