The Seamaster name is as synonymous as the Speedmaster is with the brand name itself. Debuting in 1948, the Seamaster moniker was given to a line of watches that featured rubber gaskets and resistance to magnetism, adding a dose of ruggedness and durability to an otherwise entirely dress watch. Fast forward to the present day and the Omega Seamaster has since poised itself to become a flagship reference in both Omega’s catalog of watches and the watch industry as a whole.

 

Since 1995, an Omega has been featured on the wrist of the most famous spy in cinematography, and the watch here is the latest of James Bond’s trusty wrist companions; The No Time to Die Seamaster Professional, in grade 2 titanium. The use of such material and choosing not to include a date function pushes the “tool watch” intention of the reference, making it no frills, ultra light and still very robust. Its new colour scheme also imbues the suave character of 007.

The 210.90.42 features Omegas in-house, master chronometer certified 8806 automatic movement, 15,000Gs (Guass) and a healthy 300M of water resistance, coming together to make for one serious tool watch and a far cry in terms of features and quality from previous Seamaster iterations.
