OMEGA SPEEDMASTER DATE 3513.50

This widely appreciated iteration of one of the worlds most famous watches has poised itself to be an excellent, no frills, Swiss chronograph. And it packs a value ridden punch in a very wearable (and familiar) 39mm case design.

The Omega Speedmaster date is quite a different watch in its own regard. Distinguishing itself from its famed mainstay, the more immediate aspect is of course its smaller size. Coming in at 39mm, this watch wears very well on wrist as a whole and feels much like the original despite the size difference. However the more imperative difference is of course what lies within. This watch is Powered by the automatic Omega caliber 1152, which is based on the Valjoux/ETA 7750 movement; A durable and ideal movement for this watch.

Condition wise, this watch is fantastic. Having seldom seen much case polishing in the past, it still retains defined and eye pleasing multi-finished surfaces. The dial is pure and free of any blemishes. This is a unique and well executed dial design, featuring a concentric track that separates the up-stepped center from the hour markers.  Handset is in great condition and is free of any lume rot. Crown operates steady as it should, as is the chronograph function.

Although unserviced, the movement is performing very well, running at a steady ±8 seconds per day and a 278 amplitude.
